Debra Rose Galford, 62, of Dunmore, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side.
Born January 17, 1961, in Marlinton, she was the daughter of Calvin Curtis and Nellie Rose Arbogast Galford, of Dunmore.
Debra was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the VFW and was a retired Lieutenant from Denmar Correctional Center and previously served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Galford.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Kimshea Maria Rose Galford, of Dunmore; grandchildren, Shalyn MacKenzie Rose Arbogast and Curtis Wayne Arbogast, both of Dunmore; brothers, Joe Galford and Doug Galford, both of Dunmore; nieces, Megan Rexrode, and husband, Cody, Amanda Ryder, and husband, Jake; great-niece, Marcellynn Rexrode; and great-nephews, Darren and Warren Ryder.
She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She’ll be forever in our hearts.
Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor David Rittenhouse officiating.
Interment, with Military Honors by the Pocahontas County Honor Corps, will be in Arbovale Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until time of service.
