David Vickers

David Leslie Vickers, age 58, of Durbin, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, at his home.

Born October 25, 1957, he was a son of the late George Leslie and Helen Marie Graves Bennett Vickers.

David was a construction laborer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Bennett; and a grandson, Alex Cassell.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Waddell Vickers; a daughter, Cinda Renee Vickers, of Durbin; two sons, David Kent Vickers, of Elkins, and Jedediah Leslie Vickers, of Durbin; two sisters, Suwana Arbaugh, and Tammy Vandevander, both of Cherry Grove; two brothers, Phares Bennett and Charles Bennett, both of Cherry Grove; and three grandchildren, Zachary Cassell, Michael White and Hannah Vickers.

Funeral service July 20, 1 p.m. at Big Run Presbyterian Church in Big Run with Danny Arbogast officiating. Interment in Steele Cemetery in Jodie.
