David Andy Geiger, age 68, of Cass, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Valentine Personal Care in Elkins.

Born August 4, 1948, in Marlinton, he was a son of the late Vaughan William and Gladys Luke Geiger.

David was a United States Army Veteran having served in Vietnam, and was a heavy equipment mechanic.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Vaughan Geiger and John Thomas Geiger; and two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Geiger and Anna Mae Geiger Tacy.

He is survived by a son, Dustin M. McCray, and wife, Penny, and a grandson, Isaac, all of Ireland; brothers, James E. Geiger, of Corbin, Kentucky, and Raymond Geiger, of Tallahassee, Florida; a sister, Margaret G. Gardner, of Cass; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Friday, November 18, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Alexander Memorial Presbyterian Church in Stony Bottom. Funeral service will follow with Dr. Joseph Geiger officiating.

David will be laid to rest in the Geiger Cemetery near Stony Bottom with Military Graveside Rites by the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps.
