David Cassell

David Donald Cassell, 62, of Fishersville, Virginia, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Marlinton.

Born February 12, 1960, in Marlinton, he was a son of Arlene Sue Kelly Ralston, of Marlinton, and the late Charles Donald Cassell.

He was employed by Star City Enterprises.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, David Donald Cassell, Jr.; sister, Joyce Ann Riveland; and brother, Wilbur Ray Cassell.

He is survived by his mother, Arlene Sue Ralston (Allen Beverage), of Fishersville, Virginia; daughters, Jessica Cassell, of West Augusta, Virginia, Mary Monroe (Gary), of Mt. Solon, Virginia, Emily Miller (Eric), of Grottoes, Virginia, and Summer Cassell, of Buena Vista, Virginia; grandchildren, Mathew Aiden, Alexis Cassell, Isaiah Cassell, Jeremiah Flint, Cameron Miller, Mariah Miller, Logan Miller and Sophia Layton; sisters, Patsy Tallman, of Durbin, and Barbara Tallman, of Green Bank; and brothers, Charles William Cassell, of Arbovale, and Tommy Cassell, of Stony Bottom.

Funeral service was held Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale, with Pastor Julian Rittenhouse officiating. Burial was in Wanless Cemetery near Cass.
