Darrell Lee Landis, age 63, of Marlinton, went home to be with the Lord at 11:15 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2021.
Born March 10, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Roy Lee Landis and Evalin Roberta Brown Landis.
While living in Baltimore, he was employed at Commercial Corrugated and later at Nurad Corporation.
After returning to West Virginia, he was employed at Snowshoe and Industrial Timberland, which later became Northwest Hardwoods.
Darrell was a good, kind, generous person who had many friends who loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Brian Kenneth, Bradley Charles and Tony Wayne; and a sister, Kelly Landis Barnette.
A graveside service was held Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Ruckman Cemetery with Pastor Tim Scott officiating.
VanReenen Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
