Daniel Paul “Danny” Cooper, of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away September 25, 2018, after suffering a heart attack.
Born April 23, 1940, in Washington, D.C., he was a son of the late Diana and Adolph Cooper.
Danny graduated from Marlinton High School in 1958 and West Virginia University in 1962, followed by service in the United States Navy. He worked for many years as a Senior College Sales Representative for Harper Row Collins Publishing Company until his retirement due to Parkinson’s Disease.
He is survived by his wife, Ilyne Jacobs Cooper; children, Pam and Jeff; three grandsons, Jonathan, Noah and Alec; a sister, Doris Ella Lustine, and husband, Norbert; four nieces, Amy, Carly, Aliyah and Hannah; and two nephews, Todd and David.
Funeral service was held September 28 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel in Boynton Beach, Florida. Burial with full Military Honors was in South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
