According to Emergency Management Director Michael O’Brien, damage assessments in Pocahontas County are still being done. It is very important to notify his department of your damages and losses. Several counties will be added to the Federal Declaration, including Pocahontas, but only if we meet the minimum threshhold required to unlock federal assistance. Please be patient, as this is a very extensive process. If you have not been in contact with Emergency Management to report damages, please call 304-799-3985.
