Conrad C. Snedegar, age 89, of Dundalk, Maryland, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017.

He was born April 18, 1927, at Droop Mountain, and was raised on the family farm.

Conrad served in the United States Navy during World War II. After the war, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland, and started a masonry business, where he built many warehouses, homes and commercial buildings.

In retirement, he moved to West Virginia and enjoyed the country life. He had recently been living with his son for medical care.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Snedegar.

He is survived by his children, Conrad D. Snedegar, Preston R. Snedegar, Janice Hundt, Belinda Robinson and Steven Snedegar; grandchildren, Amanda Lugo, Abigail Snedegar and Diana Hundt; and great-grandchildren, Lucas Lugo and Landon Lugo.

A Celebration of Life was held February 13 at Johnson-Fosbrink Funeral Home in Baltimore, Maryland. Burial of cremains in West Virginia will be held at a later date.
