Clarence Charles Sheets, age 89, of Marlinton, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at his home.
Born October 21, 1927, at Cass, he was a son of the late Allie W. and Janie McCloud Sheets.
Clarence was retired from Carpenters Union Local 319. He was a member of the Swago United Methodist Church and was a United States Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lee Sheets; a son, Charles Lee Sheets; a daughter, Judy Lynn Sheets; a granddaughter, Sophia Ann Sheets; and 11 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by a son, Dale Edward Sheets, and wife, Charlene, of Marlinton; a sister, Marie Miller, of Hot Springs, Virginia; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was December 11 at VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.
