Charles Leroy Buterbaugh, age 64, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
Born February 8, 1952, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, he was a son of Leona Carpenter Buterbaugh, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and the late Luster Leroy Buterbaugh.
Charles attended school in Jacksonville, Florida. He worked most of his life at golf courses. He was Superintendent at Daytona Golf Course.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a half-sister, Frances Buterbaugh; a brother, Stephen Buterbaugh; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Geneva Carpenter.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Veronica Miller Buterbaugh; two children, Vince and Ammie; a step-daughter, April; and many grandchildren, aunts, uncles and nieces.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 5, at the Daytona Golf Course.
