Cathy Cordle and Arvil Cordle

Cathy Ann Cordle, age 64, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

Born June 1, 1953, in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, she was a daughter of Jerry Williams and the late Mary Burroughs Capps Williams.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Ludlum; a brother, Lewis “Buster” Paul Capps, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Samatha Jean Cromwell.

Arvil Andrew Cordle, age 60, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Born December 17, 1957 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of the late Arvil Andrew Sr. and Phyllis Cordle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Cordle; and brother, David Cordle.

Survivors include daughters, Joanna Cordle and Lisa Miller, both of Marlinton; one son, William Henry Miller, III, of Baltimore, Maryland; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Cathy is also survived by her father; and a sister, Karen Sue Cumberland, of Baltimore, Maryland. Arvil is survived by two brothers, Brian Cordle, and wife, Michele, and Kenneth Cordle, and wife, Jennifer, all of North Carolina.

A joint memorial service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2 p.m. at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor David Merryman officiating.
