Carol Ann Holbert, age 66, of Marlinton, died Monday, September 15, 2014, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.
Born October 20, 1947, in New York, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Ruth Rafferty.
Carol was an LPN at Pocahontas Center for 26 years.
She was of the Methodist faith.
On July 10, 1971, she married Robert D. “Dan” Holbert, Jr., who survives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Leanne Mauree Holbert, of Frankford; two sons, Robert D. “Bobby” Holbert, III, and wife, Lori, of Looneyville, and James Michael Holbert, of Marlinton; two sisters, Dianne Rafferty and Majorie Shambo, both of New York; two brothers, Gerald Rafferty and Michael Rafferty, both of New York; and three grandchildren, Levi Alexander Holbert, Ivy Grace Holbert and Nevaeh Marie Southern.
Funeral service is September 17, 8 p.m. at Kimble Funeral Home in Marlinton with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
