Barbara Jackson

Barbara Ann Jackson, age 69, of Mill Point, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014, at her home.

Born June 25, 1945, at Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Emory and Martha Mathis Browning.

Barbara was a cashier and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Flem Browning.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert “Bob” Jackson; two sons, Bryan Jackson, of St. Albans, and Shawn Jackson, and wife, Leanne, of Clairton, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Ian Jackson, Gavin Jackson and Aiden Jackson; a brother, John Browning, of Lewisburg; and four sisters, Sue Blake, of Falls Church, Virginia, Janie Browning, of Lexington, Kentucky, Lee Creed, of Beckley, and Joy Kerry, of Flint, Michigan.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, the body will be cremated.

Memorial service is Thursday, September 18, at 1 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Lloyd Arbogast officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, PO Box 179, Buckeye, WV 24944 or the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 21903, Lexington, KY 40522.
