Carl David Peck, Sr., age 65, of Bartow, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016.
He was a son of the late Luther Peck, Sr., and Stella Peck.
Carl died doing what he loved – fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Wimer; a sister, Daisy Payne; and a beloved uncle, Jum Wimer.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Peck; a daughter, Tina Sharp, and husband Doug, of Marlinton; a son, Carl D. Peck, Jr., of Bartow; five grandsons, Garrett Sharp, Dustin Sharp, JD Sharp, Jax Peck and Wesson Peck; two great-granddaughters, Adaylynn Sharp and Riley Sharp; four brothers, Luther Peck, Jr., of Brandywine, Kenneth Peck, Sr., of Arbovale, Clifford Peck, and wife Peggy, and Donald Peck, and wife, Sue, all of Durbin; and four sisters, Arzella Dye, of Pennsylvania, Mary Fincham, and husband, Doyle, of Mill Creek, Linda Queen, and husband, Eddie, of Arbovale, and Bonnie Shifflett, and husband, Allen, of Green Bank.
Funeral service was May 9 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor Randy Ware officiating. Interment was in Starks Cemetery.
