The Pocahontas County Warrior soccer squads treated a large crowd at Stillwell Park last Thursday to two thrilling matches. In the first game, the girls scored two goals in the second half to overcome a 3-1 deficit and tied the Petersburg Lady Vikings, 3-3. In the second match, the boys put on an outstanding display of skill and shut out the visiting Vikings, 11-0. The Warriors won their ninth game in a row and improved to 11-3-1. The Lady Warriors improved to 4-10-1. The boys host Greenbrier East at Stillwell Park on Thursday at 6 p.m. Check back later for more pics from the Senior Night matches.
