Benjamin Simmons

Reverend Benjamin Simmons went with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2014, at his home in Shinnston. He was in good spirits at the time of his passing.

 

Benny was born January 20, 1947 in Buckhannon, the son of the late Pastor Harry and Sadis Simmons.

Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St. Shinnston, on Tuesday, November 25, from 1:30 to 7:30. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home that evening at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Lowther and Rev. Keith Carr officiating.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 26, from noon to 1 p.m. at New Hope Church of the Brethren in Dunmore, with a funeral service at 1 p.m.

Interment to follow at Arbovale Cemetery Annex in Arbovale.
