Barbara MacDonell

Barbara Howell MacDonell, of McCook, Nebraska, passed away Tues- day, June 16, 2020.

Born July 1, 1934, in Elkins, she was a daughter of the late George Lawrence Howell and Helen Lona Cordell Howell.

Barbara graduated from Green Bank High School in 1951.

She married Roderick D. MacDonell, III on November 8, 1957 in Portsmouth, Ohio. They lived in several states before moving to McCook, Nebraska in 1982. 

She is survived by two sons, Charles MacDonell, of Omaha, Nebraska, and George MacDonell, and wife, Heidi, of Corrales, New Mexico; and two grandchildren, Emily MacDonell and Peter MacDonell.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Memorials in Barbara’s name may be made to Southwest Area Training Services, 606 E 12th Street McCook, NE 69001.
