Arnold Lee “Bob” Bond, 75, of Cass, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Born January 14, 1949, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Harvey Lee and Anita Adrias Bond.

Bob was a born-again Christian who loved Jesus and his family. He was a 1968 graduate of Green Bank High School and a retired pipe fitter and welder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Miko Graham; and a brother, Glen Bond.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Ellen Cassell; daughters, Brandy Herald (James), of Chester, Virginia, and Brittney Bond, of Cass; sons, Sheldon Bond (Rhodie), of Chesterfield, Virginia, Robert Bond (Crystal), of Cross Junction, Virginia, and Adam Bond (Michelle), of Midlothian, Virginia; grandchildren, Jackie Rowan, Tyler Bond, Evan Bond, Hannah Martin, Kerk Bond, Braxton Graham, Jasmine Charles, Lily Charles and Gracie Bond; great-grandchildren, Lillian Rowan and Chloe Martin; sisters, Janie Lowe, Shirley Dimino (David), Dorothy Watson (Lewis), and Marie Waybright; brothers, Gerald Bond, Adam Bond (Cindy), James Bond (Jeanette) and Michael Bond (Beth); many nieces and nephews; and his beloved Siamese cat, “Binka.” 

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Chapel in Arbovale, with Pastor David Rittenhouse officiating. Burial will follow in Arbovale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024, at the funeral home.
