Arlie J. Vaughan, age 96, of Marlinton, died Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.
Born November 19, 1919, at Lobelia, he was a son of the late Lovice and Georgia Hindgardner Vaughan.
Arlie was a retired water plant operator. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of First Baptist Church Huntersville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Wooddell Vaughan.
Graveside service was held August 23 at Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Phillip Thompson officiating. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery with Military Rites by the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps.
