Archery team wins state tournament

The Pocahontas County Elementary School archery team won first place in the state tournament on March 31 and will advance to the National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky on May 9-11. Warrior shooters who took individual honors  were; Silas Riley #9 boy, Max Ervine #5 boy, and TD Sparks #2 boy. Maria Workman was #5 Girl. The top 5 individuals received plaques and medals. Way to go team.
