Anne B. Royals, age 76, of Crozet, Virginia, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the Hospice House in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Born June 28, 1938, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late John F. Boswell and Grace Davis Boswell.
Anne graduated from Averett University. She was a professional ski patroller at Wintergreen Resort and Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
She led Bible Study in the Waynesboro and Crozet, Virginia, areas for 25 years. She was an active member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church and Crozet Rescue Squad.
The family moved from Tidewater, Virginia, in 1973 and opened a horse riding farm in Afton, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Royals.
She is survived by two sons, O.D. Royals, and wife, Sandy, of Staunton, Virginia, and John Royals, and wife, Beth, of Richmond, Virginia; and five grandchildren, Cody, Matt, Daniel, Easton and Brandon.
Funeral service was March 21 at the Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Rev. Don Hardman officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
