Annabelle Blake Perkins, age 74, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014, at the home of her daughter.
Born August 31, 1940, at Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late George and Bealie Lane Blake.
Annabelle attended West View Chapel Church. She was a member of the Cranberry Quilting Club, a homemaker and a 20 year laborer for Hanover Shoe Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Perkins on January 13, 1988; two sisters, Mary Bowan and Polly May Wiseman; and four brothers, Jess Frank Blake, David M. Blake, Adam Blake and Pearley Blake.
She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Ann Evans, of Huntersville, and Charlotte Schoolcraft, of Marlinton; two sons, Clyde David Perkins, of Hillsboro, and Franklin Eric Perkins, of Marlinton; a sister, Violet Buckley, of Marlinton; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends October 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye.
In keeping with Anna-belle’s wishes, the body will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
