Anna Mae Elliott, age 95, of Green Bank, was surrounded by family when she was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2014.

Born December 3, 1918, at Durbin, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Norma Marshall Ashford.

Anna Mae was of the Methodist faith, a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, a member of the Cass Order of the Eastern Star #124. She was a graduate of Green Bank High School.

Anna Mae enjoyed getting together with friends and playing music. She had so many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Elliott; two sons, James F. Elliott, and wife, Phyllis and William R. Elliott; great-grandson, James Tra Elliott; and two brothers, William Ashford and Ward Ashford.

She is survived by two grandsons, James F. Elliott, of Green Bank, and Spencer D. Elliott, and wife, Ann Marie, of Charleston; a granddaughter, Lori J. Warner, and husband, Jamie, of Green Bank; five great-grandchildren, Brooke Vandevander, and fiancé, Mike Smith, Derek Taylor, and wife, Chasity, all of Bartow, Morgan Bryant, and husband, Corey, of Marlinton, and Devin Elliott and Riley Elliott both of Charleston; five great-great-grandchildren, Dillon Vandevander, Makayla Vandevander, Mackenzie Taylor, Griffin Taylor and Jase Bryant; two nephews, Craig Ashford, and wife, Cynthia, of Frost, and John Ashford, and wife, Robin, of Huntington; a niece, Mary Ashford, of Princeton; and a daughter-in-law, Linda D. Elliott, of Charleston.

Memorial service is Saturday, February 22, 11 a.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. David Fuller officiating.
