Ann Hilleary Cloonan, age 74, of Morgantown, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 5, 2016, while in the comfort of her home.

Born January 7, 1942, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late George Louia and Mary McNeel Hilleary.

Ann was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended Morris Harvey College in Charleston. She was employed as Supervisor of Medical Transcription at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown; and enjoyed working as a transcriptionist for Dr. Holehouse and Dr. Rollins, as well as Dr. Renn.
Ann had a love for music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. Her love of sports was deeply rooted, as she began following her daughter through sports from elementary school through her attendance at Wheeling Jesuit College. Her daughter’s basketball career was something Ann enjoyed watching for many years. Ann’s love for sports and music continued as her grandsons began to participate in sports and band.

Ann was devoted to her faith in Christ, and enjoyed attending St. Paul Lutheran Church, when she was able. She was a proud breast cancer survivor, a devoted Christian and a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Warren Cloonan, with whom she enjoyed 37 years of marriage; and a brother, John Hilleary.

She leaves behind by a daughter, Lesley Cain, and husband, Kevin, of Westover; three grandsons, Tanner Warren Cain, Garrett Brian Cain and Cameron David Cain, all of Westover; a brother, Robert Hilleary; and many loved nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service was August 8 at McCulla Funeral Home in Morgantown with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Entombment was in the Beverly Hills Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Lunchbox Program for Skyview Elementary School, 540 Fairmont Road, Westover, WV 26501.

Online condolences may be made at www.mcculla.com
