Allie O’Dell Cook, age 79, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.
Born April 8, 1936, at Bentree, she was a daughter of the late Cecil and Myrtle Walker O’Dell.
Allie was a homemaker for 32 years and was a retired office assistant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Leo O’Dell, Don “Tootie” O’Dell, Cecil “CC” O’Dell, Houston O’Dell, Herman O’Dell and Shirley “Shirt” O’Dell.
She is survived by her a daughter, Belinda Workman, and husband, David, of Hillsboro; three sons, Frank Cook, Mark Cook, and wife, Dawna Hedrick, all of Marlinton, and Barry Cook, and fiancée, Donna Hevener, of Waynesboro, Virginia; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dot Morton, of Oak Hill, and Mary Ellen Duffy, of Milton; and two brothers, Ralph O’Dell, and wife, Mitzie, of Dixie, and Timothy O’Dell, of Milton.
Funeral service July 22 at 1 p.m. at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor Roger Boggs officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.
