Agnes Bennett

Agnes Marie Bennett, age 90, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of Arbovale, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Genesis Health Center in Boise, Idaho.

Born June 20, 1927, in Churchville, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Arlie and Fannie Ethel Nelson Simmons.

Agnes was a member of the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Bennett; grandson, James Bennett; three half-sisters; and a half-brother.

She is survived by her son, William Bennett, of Nampa, Idaho; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Kathrine McCarty, of Akron, Ohio; brother, Arlie Harry Simmons, of Marlinton; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held May 1 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastors David Rittenhouse and Julian Rittenhouse officiating. Interment was in Arbovale Cemetery.
