Spring Round-UP
Egg shell art, jewelry made from white bread, candles, basketry, decoupage, knitting, trapunto, broken glass pictures and bead making were some of the crafts demonstrated and exhibited at the Annual Spring Round-Up of Home Demonstration Club members. STUDENTS
Miss Judith Cassell, of Arbovale, received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Glenville State college in the Commencement Exercises held last week.
Rosalie Hill was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia Wesleyan with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.
The following students were awarded degrees at the 134th Commencement at Marshall University: Bartow: Keith Douglas Plyler, Bachelor of Arts; Marlinton: Lura June McElwee, Bachelor of Arts.

The marriage of Miss Rochelle Eidensohn and William Deveraux was solemnized Saturday, June 12, 1971, by the Rev. David Rittenhouse in the presence of friends and relatives in a large room of the Lobelia Saltpetre Cave. Mrs. Ettie E. Jackson Higgins, 86, of Marlinton, a daughter of the late Warwick and Louise McCarthy Jackson. Burial in the Poage Lane Cemetery near Clover Lick.
Mrs. Opal Margaret Varela Fine, 49, of Monongahela Road, Pennsylvania; born at Mill Point, a daughter of Louis M. Varela, Sr., and the late Ruby Cowgill Varela. Interment in the Monongahela Cemetery.
