Jimmy Wayne Plaugher, age 54, of Durbin, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015, at his home.
Born December 22, 1960, in Elkins, he was a son of the late Junior Wayne and Carolyn June Cade Plaugher.
Jimmy was a timber cutter for 30 years. He worked for several companies over the years, including Ricottilli Lumber Company, Bob Poling, Dewey McCarty, Terry and Lynn Grimes and Interstate Hardwoods.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but his greatest love was his grandchildren and watching the Western Channel.
He married Julia Turner July 26, 1980, and they renewed their vows July 26, 2003.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife.
He is survived by his children, Mary White, and husband, Kevin, of Durbin, James Plaugher, and wife, Kelly, of Cass, Manda Brickles, and husband, Jason, of Montrose, and Molly Plaugher, and fiancé, Aaron Milstead, of Durbin; grandchildren, Blake, Sheyennne, Lance, Shealynn, Bayla and Jason; brothers and sisters, Steve Cade, and wife, Connie and Kathy Schoonover, and husband, Keith, all of Elkins, Ronald Plaugher, and wife, Martha, of Durbin, Elaine Coberly, and husband, John, and David Plaugher, all of Norton, Ralph Plaugher, and wife, Jennifer, of Staunton, Virginia, Anna Mollohan, and husband, Jeff, and Tina Hall, and husband, Mike, all of Webster Springs, and Tabitha Villacro, and husband, Bill, of Mill Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday, March 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home. No funeral service will be held.
