Thomas Lee Biggs, 87, of Marlinton, died Friday, January 29, 2021, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
Born December 20, 1933, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Wilson C. and Ruby E. Wardell Biggs.
Tommy retired as a mechanic for Burns Motor Freight. He was a member of Marlinton United Methodist Church and an Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ann Beverage and Gladys Dilley; and two brothers, Freddy Biggs and Curtis Biggs.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Fertig Biggs; daughters, Katherine Elaine Stebbins and Janet Marie Pollard; a son, Bradley Biggs; sister, Linda Woolard; brother, Roger Biggs; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Merryman officiating.
Interment in Mountain View Cemetery with military rites by the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pocahontas Cooperative Parrish Ministries.
