Patricia Ann Aliff McLaughlin, age 76, of Marlinton, died Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the home of her daughter, Michelle McLaughlin.
Born May 19, 1938, at Inglan Branch, she was a daughter of the late Troy and Maxine Meadows Aliff.
Patricia was a retired lab technician and waitress. She was a member of the Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace McLaughlin; and a brother, Jackie Aliff.
She is survived by her daughters, Martha Chitwood, and husband, Billy, of Ridgeway, Virginia, Mich-elle McLaughlin, and companion, Danny, of Marlinton and Missy Handy, and husband, Billy, of Buckeye; sons, Michael McLaughlin, and wife, Gilma, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Martin McLaughlin, and wife, Jessica, of Marlinton; sisters, Rosella Garretson and Loretta Mann, both of Ruby, Virginia, and Ruth Cutlip, of Fredericksburg, Virginia; a brother, Richard Aliff, of Stafford, Virginia; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends December 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home. Funeral service December 31 at 1 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Interment will be in Brown’s Mountain Cemetery.
