M. Bernadine “Bernie” Griffin, 97, of Venetia, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, September 27, 2020, with her family by her side.
Bernie had visited Pocahontas County for more than 50 years, spending time with family and friends at the family’s property.
After the death of her beloved husband, John “Pinky” Griffin Jr., who passed away in 1978, she continued to return to Marlinton to enjoy the beauty of the land and the kindness of the people.
She is survived by her loving children, John F., III, and wife, Bettina, of Middletown, Deleware, Greg, of Washington, D.C., and Jill, of Venetia, Pennsylvania.
