The First Aid Station at Camp Price on Droop Mountain is pictured here. Camp Price was established in 1935 by Civilian Conservation Corps at the site of the 1863 Civil War battle. When work was completed in 1937 the enrollees had reclaimed the battlefield, planted trees, built cabins and a lookout tower, and developed picnic areas. Photo courtesy of Mike Smith, ID: PHP000209
