Irene R. Blizzard, age 91, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014, at her home.
Born May 20, 1923, at Cave, she was a daughter of the late Luther Glen Harper and Montie Fleisher Harper.
Irene was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church. On July 23, 1949, she married Arlie R. Blizzard who preceded her in death on October 20, 1966.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise Simmons and infant sisters, Ruby Harper and Lucille Harper.
She is survived by a daughter, Diann J. Blizzard, of Franklin.
Funeral service was August 3 at Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin with Rev. Kevin Hand officiating. Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
