Bessie Louise Oliver, age 74, of Old Fields, passed this life Saturday, April 26, 2014, in Keyser.
Born March 3, 1940, at Hillsboro, she was a daughter of the late Denny Rufus and Anna J. Simmons Hollandsworth.
Bessie was a homemaker and a member of Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church. She was active in both the church and the church circle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Curtis “Chuck” Oliver; two sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by her son, Denny Robert Oliver, and wife, Cheryl, of Moorefield; a sister, Dorothy Larue, of Arizona; three brothers, Bobby Hollandsworth, of South Carolina, Daniel Hollandsworth, of Hillsboro, and Jerry Hollandsworth, of Peterstown; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service was April 30 at Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield with Pastors Danny Sterns and Jay Parkins officiating. Interment was in Olivet Cemetery.
