According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals had activity in their cases:

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Bradley Thomas Armstrong, 20, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest March 13 to a charge of possession of alcohol, under the age of 21. He was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

Charles M. Gibson, 42, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty March 7 to a charge of no motor vehicle insurance. He was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

James M. Jackson, 60, of Elkview, pleaded guilty March 14 to a charge of trout fishing violation. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

Donald W. Lovelace, 71, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest March 1 to a charge of using an unmarked trap. He was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

William Curtis Phillips, 38, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty March 21 to a charge of failure to use safety belts. He was assessed a $25 fine.

Brittney Dawn Sharp, 20, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty March 29 to a charge of failure to use safety belts. She was assessed a $25 fine.

Douglas George Sickle, 66, of Turtletown, Tennessee, pleaded no contest March 14 to a charge of left of center in a no passing zone. He was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

Jackie Lynn Sisson, 55, of Arbovale, pleaded guilty March 19 to a charge of battery – making physical contact of insulting/provoking nature/causing physical harm to another. She was assessed $365.25 in court costs and fines.

Heath Alan Tawney, 45, of Williamstown, pleaded no contest March 11 to two counts of trout fishing violation. He was assessed $440.50 in court costs and fines.

Hamed Wayne Taylor, 25, of Arbovale, pleaded no contest March 20 to a charge of operating vehicle without evidence of registration. He was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

Earl Eugene Stanley, 58, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty March 13 to a charge of no proof of disposal. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

Gavin Walker Yawn, 18, of Milan, Georgia, pleaded guilty March 12 to a charge of throwing snowball from ski lift – skiing responsibilities act. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

Victor Oscar Martinez, 33, of Dunmore, pleaded guilty March 13 to a charge of driving too fast for roadway conditions. He was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

In senior status Magistrate Danith Miller’s court:

Raymond A. Brown, 53, of Elizabeth, Kentucky, pleaded guilty March 29 to a charge of driving too fast for roadway conditions. He was assessed $175.25 in court costs and fines.

Michael Dunz, 54, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty March 11 to charges of no vehicle insurance and improper use of evidence of registration. He was assessed $175.25 in court costs and fines.

Ivan Teague Hoffa, 44, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty March 22 to a charge of knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription. He was assessed $265.25 in court costs and fines.

Randall Wayne Thompson, 28, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest March 19 to a charge of failure to produce operator’s. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

Timothy Allen Turner, 21, of Bartow, pleaded no contest March 22 to charges of failure to maintain control and operating without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate. He was assessed $430.50 in court costs and fines.

Desaray Utley, 24, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest March 18 to a charge of operating without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate. She was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.
