April Grand Jury hands up indictments

The April Grand Jury convened in Pocahontas County Tuesday and returned the following indictments:

Jesse Lee Blake, 35, of Marlinton, one count, petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Jesse Lee Blake, 35, of Marlinton, one count, burglary, a felony; two counts, destruction of property, a felony; one count, obstructing an officer, a misdemeanor; one count burglary, a felony.

Joseph D. Friel, 23, of Cass, five counts, sexual assault in the second degree, a felony.

Thomas E. Greenberg, 36, of Snowshoe, one count, manufacture of a Schedule I controlled non-narcotic substance, a felony; one count, obstructing an officer, a misdemeanor.

Burt Harmon, 21, of Cowen, one count, attempted grand larceny, a felony.

Justin Allen White, 37, hometown unknown, one count, grand larceny, a felony; one count, abduction, a felony.

Tyler A. Bowman, 19, hometown unknown, two counts, sexual abuse in the first degree, a felony; one count, sexual assault in the second degree, a felony; one count, sexual assault in the third degree, a felony.

Tara L. Leary, 29, of Marlinton, one count, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled non-narcotic substance, a felony; one count, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule III controlled narcotic substance, a felony.

An indictment is not proof of guilt. All parties are considered innocent until proven otherwise by a jury of their peers.
