Barry Bronson

Barry Bronson, age 67, of Marlinton, died peacefully Friday, June 29, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, with his daughter and her companion by his side.

Born October 28, 1950, in Key West, Florida, he was a son of the late Hubert and Edith Myatt Buzzard.

Barry was a retired truck driver having worked 30 plus years for Ralph H. Burns and Son, Inc. and was a member of Huntersville United Methodist Church. He was a most loving, generous, giving, kind-hearted, hardworking, dedicated father. No one could ask for a better father, husband and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Abdella Bronson.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda K. Bronson, and companion, William Yelenik, of Morgantown; and a brother, Johnny Barton.

Funeral service will be held July 5, 3 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton with Pastor Richard Boyer officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barry’s name may by made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
