Five WVU students visited Pocahontas County over the weekend, to check out the lay of the land, to learn more about the people, history and culture of the area and to attend the Autumn Harvest/RoadKill Cook-off. These students will work with the Pocahontas County Bicentennial Commission in the area of public relations as well as offering strategies for marketing of planned events. The group was hosted by the Pocahontas County Convention and Visitors Bureau, introduced by CVB Marketing Specialist Chelsea Walker, received a history lesson from Bob Sheets, of Green Bank, and stopped by The Pocahontas Times office for a visit.
