Robert Andrew “Jaboo” Jordan, of Covington, Virginia, transitioned home Thursday, May 4, 2017.
Born August 10, 1947, he was a son of the late Mary Lou Jordan and Curtis Church.
Robert worked for 32 years at Denmar Hospital and Cramer Lumber Company. He attended the Covington Senior Center and enjoyed playing bingo and dominos.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Jordan; a son, David Palmer, of Washington; a sister, Linda Jordan Carter, and her special friend, Robert Daugherty, who cared for him during his illness; step-son, Andrew Lacy, of Marlinton; five step-daughters; and many grandchildren.
