Greenbrier Valley Master Beef Producers Course
WVU Extension Service in the Greenbrier Valley will offer the Master Beef Producer Program. This is a six-part series that encompasses topics such as soil fertility, breeding and genetics, forage production, animal health, end product, and financial management. The series will begin January 26 and continue through March 2, with classes held each Thursday at the WVU Building at the State Fair Grounds in Fairlea. If you would like to attend please RSVP by Friday, January 20, by calling 304-799-4852. There will be a $50 fee to cover expenses.

State Dance Camp – March 10-12.
Dance Camp registration is now open for all 4-Hers in grades six and up. The online registration deadline for youth is January 31, but there are limits to the classes, so earlier registration is always advised. All information can be found at 4-hyd.ext.wvu.edu/events_forms/dance. Four-H members who have attended Dance Camp for many years and are interested in helping teach classes should apply as a “Dance Camp Tribute” this year.
