Paul Wesley Daughtery, Sr., age 88, of Charleston, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington.
Born October 27, 1927, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Floyd Jackson and Georgia Anna Daughtery Robinson.
Paul was a chauffeur for Myer Lumber Company and a truck driver for the Charleston Daily News newspaper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Almeda Daughtery; second wife, Irene Daughtery; a daughter, Angela Daughtery; a sister, Shirley Killion; and a granddaughter, Robin.
He is survived by his son, Paul Wesley Daughtery, Jr., of Charleston; a brother, Charles “Sonny” Daughtery, of White Sulphur Springs; special friend, Edith Thompson; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is Saturday, October 1, 2 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton with Pastor Greg Scott officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service
