Betty Constance Lowe, age 83, of Clover Lick, died Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.
Born March 1, 1933, at Clover Lick, she was a daughter of the late Ralph G. and Virginia Ervin Lowe.
Betty was the Valedictorian of her class at Green Bank High School. She worked for the FBI in its fingerprint department. She was a technical writer for a Defense Contract Company and retired from the National Institute of Health in 1996. Following her retirement, she returned to her home in Clover Lick.
She was a member of Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Lowe, of Harpers Ferry, and Jean Lowe, of Germantown, Maryland; a brother, Grady Lowe, of Culloden; a niece, Barbara Huddleston, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; a nephew, David Tracy, of Athens, Ohio; and many great-nieces-and-nephews.
Graveside service was August 14 at the Shinaberry Cemetery on Poage Lane with Father Arthur Bufogle officiating.
