Howard Granvil “Granny” Kramer, age 74, of Marlinton, died Thursday, March 10, 2016, at his home.
Born September 21, 1941, at Slaty Fork, he was a son of the late Howard Adam and Bertha Ellen Mace Kramer.
Granvil was a forklift operator for a box manufacturing company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Irene E. Kramer; and a brother, Ralph E. Kramer.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Gaye Mace Kramer; a daughter. Catherine E. Dove, of Myerstown, Pennsylvania; sons, Robert L. Bennett, Jr., and Larry W. Bennett, both of Buckeye, and Randall W. Bennett, of Marlinton; sisters, Phyllis E. Kramer and Rosetta E. Kramer, both of Hatfield, Pennsylvania; brothers, Richard E. Kramer, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Allen T. Kramer, of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, and Larry G. Kramer, of Slaty Fork; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was March 15 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Mann officiating. Interment was in the Gibson Cemetery at Slaty Fork.
