The Pocahontas County Farm Bureau and Pocahontas Producers Livestock Cooperative will hold their annual dinner and business meeting Friday, October 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Opera House in Marlinton.

The Pocahontas CEOS clubs invite all current and potential new members to this year’s fall covered dish dinner at McClintic Library in Marlinton Tuesday, October 27, at 5:30 p.m. Games, fun activities, an arts and crafts display and a white elephant sale will be held after the meal.
2015 WV 4-H Women’s Basketball Day
All West Virginia 4-H members, their families and friends are invited to attend WV 4-H Women’s Basketball Day at the WVU Coliseum in Morgan- town Saturday, November 14. The cost is $25 per person and this includes a ticket to the WVU – Delaware State Women’s Game, a 4-H hoodie, and insurance. Registration deadline for this game is Friday, October 30. If you would like to attend, send your check written to the WV 4-H Alumni Association and sweatshirt size to the Pocahontas County Extension Office, 900-E 10th Avenue, Marlinton WV 24954 before the deadline. In the event of snow and you are unable to attend, there will be no snow date and no refunds will be made, but you will be sent your hoodie.
