Top of Allegheny Church on the Staunton Parkersburg Pike near Bartow, W.Va. This photo shows a view of the church and grounds with horses, buggies, people – probably gathered for all-day service with dinner on the grounds. The church was built in 1903 serving the Dunkards (later Church of the Brethren) and the Methodists. The building was torn down in 1938 and the contents divided between the Dunkards, who sold their part to the Durbin Church of God to build a small church, and the Methodists, who added Sunday School rooms to the church in Arbovale.
