Pocahontas County Farm Bureau and WVU Extension Service will host a Farm Safety Day at Stillwell Park Saturday, May 6, at 10 a.m. Topics will include tractor, chainsaw and pesticide safety. Lunch will be provided, and the public is welcome to attend. Please RSVP by calling WVU Extension at 304-799-4852 no later than April 28.
Pocahontas County Farm Bureau is collecting donations for the Ronald McDonald House in Morgantown. Donations will be accepted through May 6 and can be dropped off at the Extension Office in the courthouse or brought to the Farm Safety Day. Requested items are canned soups and fruit, cake mixes, cereal, trash bags, laundry detergents, cleaning supplies and food storage supplies.
