Educational Dinner Meeting
Dr. Dave McGill and Dr. Sheldon Owen present Woods and Wildlife, Tuesday March 14, 6 p.m. at the Marlinton Municipal Building.
This Woods and Wildlife program will provide woodland owners a better understanding of woodland ownership, forest ecology, and the sound application of forest and wildlife management practices. In addition, this program will direct woodland owners to available resources and assistance programs for woodland and wildlife management.
Attendance at this meeting will be worth three (3) pesticide applicator recertification credits for categories 11, 12 and PA. Additionally, there will be 1.5 credits available through the Society of American Foresters and 1.5 CEUs available through the International Society of Arboriculture.
RSVP to the Pocahontas County Extension Office by calling 304-799-4852 by Friday, March 10. There will be a $3 charge to cover the cost of dinner.
Bull Breeding Soundness Exams

Pocahontas County 4-H and FFA will hold their annual Ham, Bacon and Egg Sale Saturday, March 18, at 7 p.m. at Mitchell Chevrolet in Marlinton.
