Winter Educational Dinner Meeting
The Winter Educational Dinner Meeting will be held at Marlinton Municipal Building Tuesday, January 17, at 6 p.m. Dr. Mark Alley, a technical service veterinarian with Zoetis, will speak about the new veterinary feed directive that begins January 2017. This will affect many producers who use and feed medicated feeds to livestock. Dr. Alley’s primary interests are beef and dairy production medicine including: record analysis, economics, pasture/grazing management, parasite control, and animal handling/welfare.
Attendance at this meeting will also be worth three (3) pesticide applicator recertification credits for categories 11, 12 and PA.
To attend, RSVP to the WVU Extension Office, 304-799-4852, by Friday, January 13. For those who would like dinner, there will be a $3 charge to help cover the cost.
Pocahontas Beekeepers
