2015 WV 4-H Women’s Basketball Day
West Virginia 4-H members, their families and friends are invited to attend the 4-H Women’s Basketball Day at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown on Saturday, February 21, at noon. The cost is $20 per person and includes a ticket to the WVU – Iowa State Women’s Game, a 4-H hoodie and insurance. Registration deadline for this game is January 30. If you would like to attend, send your check made payable to the WV 4-H Alumni Association, along with your sweatshirt size, to the Pocahontas County Extension Office, 900-E 10th Avenue, Marlinton WV 24954 before the deadline. In the event of snow and you are unable to attend, there will be no snow date and no refunds will be made, but you will receive your hoodie.
Poster and Photo Contests
All entries in the county 4-H Poster and Photo contests are due in the Extension Office by January 30. Contact your local 4-H club leader or the Extension Office for more information.
Dramas, Fairs and Festivals Applications
Applications for the Dramas, Fairs, and Festivals grants for this quarter are due in the Extension Office by February 1. If you have any questions or need one of the new application forms, please call the office at 304-799-4852.
