The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow for Pocahontas and Randolph counties beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16, and continuing to 11 a.m. Monday.
Snow accumulations of four to eight inches with higher amounts expected above 3,500 feet elevation.
Temperatures will be in the lower to mid 30s on Sunday, dipping into the 20s Sunday night.
